Buddy Up | Feature

I'd been at the scene of a fatal incident, helping with first aid, earlier in the year. I'd then been interviewing a well-known pilot at an event later in the year where they later suffered a fatal crash. After these experiences, I felt compelled to find out and share how we can do better. I'm also a pilot, with family and friends.
I interviewed Jocky Sanderson to get his extensive insights from years as a first responder, mountain rescue volunteer, pilot and instructor. With his input, I wrote this comprehensive feature to provide a template for readers to use and keep each other safer in the mountains.
